  • Laura is an occupational therapist from Florida. She earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Florida after completing her Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Sciences at Florida State University. She has extensive experience working with children from birth through early childhood, including those with developmental delays, genetic conditions, and sensory processing challenges. Before joining On Target Pediatric Therapy, Laura worked with Florida's Early Steps program, where she provided family-centered, in-home therapy and collaborated closely with speech therapists, physical therapists, and other specialists. She has a strong background in caregiver coaching, school transition support, and the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies. At On Target, Laura is passionate about helping children build independence and confidence in their daily routines. Her areas of expertise include sensory integration, fine and gross motor development, play-based therapy, and family coaching. She loves empowering families with practical tools and strategies to help children thrive across home, school, and community environments. Outside of work, Laura enjoys fostering animals, gardening, crafting, baking, and spending time outdoors.
