  • Megan received her Bachelor's Degree from Saint Louis University where she studied Communication Sciences and Disorders and Special Education. Following graduation, she worked in a primary classroom at an Oral Deaf Education school where she expanded her experience and refined her passion. Working in a classroom setting highlighted the importance of individualized instruction and grew her love of helping children find their voice through various communication methods. She received her Masters of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Kent State University. During her graduate program, Megan gained experience with adult and pediatric populations in hospital, private practice, and school settings. Throughout graduate school, Megan engaged in research and presented at the Greater Cleveland Autism Society regarding strategies for increasing functional and verbal communication with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Megan believes in a child-first philosophy and is passionate about providing therapy that is engaging and fun for the child. Megan believes that a collaborative approach allows children the opportunity to develop all of their goals in one unique setting and build confidence across skill sets to best prepare them for their next steps in life. She strives to help students in the earliest stages of development build their own bridges through learning effective communication. When she's not playing pretend or laminating materials, Megan enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, and traveling.
